How Coffee is Made

The outer fruit is removed, and the beans are washed and dried naturally in the sun or using specialised drying systems.
Once dried, the beans are milled, graded and roasted to develop their distinctive flavours and aromas. Many tours finish with a guided tasting session, allowing visitors to compare different roast levels and discover how altitude, processing methods and roasting techniques influence the final cup.
