🇧🇳 Discover Brunei
Small in size but extraordinary in character, Brunei Darussalam offers a fascinating glimpse into a very different side of Borneo.
Set on the northern coast of the island, Brunei combines pristine rainforest, winding rivers, rich Islamic heritage and royal traditions. Beyond the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan, the landscape quickly becomes wonderfully wild, with protected rainforest covering much of the country.
For adventure travellers, the real draw is the Temburong rainforest, where journeys by longboat lead deep into one of Borneo’s most spectacular natural environments. Expect jungle trails, waterfalls, canopy walks and opportunities to discover the incredible wildlife of the rainforest.
Back in Bandar Seri Begawan, explore the magnificent Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, wander through the fascinating Kampong Ayer water village, discover Brunei’s royal heritage and sample the local food scene.
Brunei can also be combined with Malaysian Borneo, creating an unforgettable multi-country adventure without leaving the island.

🌳 Ulu Temburong National Park
For a taste of Brunei’s wild side, head east to Ulu Temburong National Park. This vast protected rainforest is a world of rivers, towering trees, waterfalls and jungle trails, with much of the park accessible by boat.
Travel by longboat into the rainforest, walk beneath the canopy and, for those feeling adventurous, climb to the Canopy Walkway for spectacular views across the treetops. It’s an opportunity to experience one of Borneo’s great wilderness areas far from the bustle of the capital.
