Goa offers a wonderfully different side of India — golden beaches, swaying palms, colourful markets, Portuguese-influenced architecture and a relaxed pace of life, all wrapped up in a destination with plenty of character.

Beyond the beaches, Goa has plenty to discover. Wander through the colourful streets and heritage neighbourhoods of Old Goa, explore spice plantations, visit local markets and temples, sample Goan cuisine or head into the countryside to see a quieter side of the region.

And then there are those beaches. From lively stretches with plenty happening to quieter coves where you can simply slow down and watch the sunset, Goa can be as relaxed or as active as you want it to be.
