Denmark

Denmark may be a small country, but it’s packed with charm, history and unforgettable experiences. From colourful waterfronts and royal palaces to cosy cafés and world-class design, Denmark perfectly combines Scandinavian style with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

My own visit was centred around Copenhagen, a city that is incredibly easy to explore on foot. I loved wandering through its beautiful streets, discovering hidden squares, historic buildings and lively cafés around every corner.

One of my favourite memories was visiting Tivoli Gardens. Opened in 1843, it’s one of the world’s oldest amusement parks and feels wonderfully magical, especially as evening approaches. I spent the evening watching the Buddy Holly Story performed on the open-air stage, surrounded by thousands of twinkling lights and beautiful gardens. It was one of those travel moments that stays with you long after you’ve returned home.

Whether you’re cycling through Copenhagen, visiting magnificent castles, enjoying a traditional Danish pastry or simply embracing the relaxed Scandinavian lifestyle, Denmark is a destination that rewards those who take the time to slow down and enjoy its simple pleasures.

Denmark offers the perfect blend of culture, history, design and hygge, making it an ideal city break or an excellent addition to a wider Scandinavian adventure.
