Komodo & Flores Adventure
This 9-day small group adventure takes you beyond the famous Komodo dragons to discover the culture, landscapes and wildlife of Flores before sailing through the spectacular islands of Komodo National Park.
Begin with an early-morning trek to Mount Kelimutu, where three striking crater lakes provide one of Flores’ most memorable sights. From here, travel through rural landscapes and forests, staying overnight with a local community in Tololela Village and experiencing traditional village life and hospitality.
Continue through Flores to discover traditional Ngada villages, the spectacular spider-web rice fields of Cancar, and Liang Bua Cave, before reaching Labuan Bajo, the gateway to Komodo National Park.
Then comes the wildlife highlight. Board a traditional phinisi sailing boat for two days of island hopping, with opportunities to hike, snorkel and swim. Explore Kelor and Padar islands, snorkel around Manjarite and Pink Beach, and watch thousands of fruit bats emerge at sunset from Kalong Island.
Finally, head to Komodo Island itself for a guided trek in search of the legendary Komodo dragons in their natural habitat — the perfect finale to an adventure combining wildlife, island scenery, local culture and active exploration.
