Welcome Hotel Paris

A charming base in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés

For a Paris stay where location really matters, the Welcome Hotel offers an excellent base in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, one of the city’s most atmospheric neighbourhoods.

Situated on Rue de Seine in the 6th arrondissement, the hotel places you right among the cafés, restaurants, art galleries and boutiques of the Left Bank. The famous Marché de Buci is nearby, while many of Paris’s best-known sights can be reached on foot. The Louvre, Notre-Dame, Sainte-Chapelle and Luxembourg Gardens are all within easy reach.

The hotel occupies a historic late-19th-century building and combines traditional Parisian character with the practical comforts you want after a day exploring the city. Its 30 rooms are individually styled and designed to provide a comfortable, intimate base for your Paris adventure.

Rooms for different types of travellers

There is a choice of room categories, including Single, Classic, Superior, Deluxe and Junior Suite options, making the hotel suitable for solo travellers, couples and families.

Rooms feature air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a safe, hairdryer and tea and coffee-making facilities, with double-glazed windows helping provide a quieter night’s sleep despite the hotel’s central location.

Start the day with a Parisian breakfast

Breakfast is available at the hotel each morning, with a buffet featuring local and organic products. You can enjoy it in the hotel’s recently renovated breakfast area or, for a more relaxed start, in the comfort of your room.

Perfect for exploring Paris on foot

One of the biggest advantages of the Welcome Hotel is its location.

Step outside and you’re immediately immersed in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Spend the morning exploring the Left Bank, wander towards the Seine and Île de la Cité, visit the Louvre or Musée d’Orsay, or simply settle into one of the neighbourhood’s famous cafés and watch Paris go by.

Odéon Metro station is only around 190 metres away, giving you an easy way to reach attractions further across the city when your feet need a break.

Why I like it

The location is the real star here. If you’re looking for a hotel that allows you to experience Paris rather than simply having somewhere to sleep, the Welcome Hotel is worth considering.

It’s particularly well suited to short city breaks, first-time visits to Paris, couples and solo travellers who want to be in the middle of the action and have many attractions within walking distance.

With its central Left Bank location, welcoming atmosphere and straightforward accommodation, it makes a lovely base for discovering Paris at your own pace.

Discover the Frog tip: Paris is a city best explored with a mixture of planned sightseeing and simply wandering. Staying somewhere as central as Saint-Germain-des-Prés means you can easily return to the hotel for a rest before heading back out for an evening of dinner, drinks or a stroll along the Seine.
