Rather than one continuous adventure, each story takes Bond somewhere different, introducing new characters, landscapes and situations along the way. France / Fontainebleau
Bond is sent to the French countryside to investigate a secret intelligence operation hidden beneath the peaceful landscape. The story takes him through Paris and the Fontainebleau area, combining elegant French surroundings with a very different world beneath the surface.
Travel inspiration: Explore Paris, discover the historic Château de Fontainebleau and venture into the magnificent Fontainebleau Forest.
Jamaica / Caribbean & North America
The story opens in Jamaica, where the Havelocks’ beautiful estate becomes the target of a deadly plot. Bond is then sent to Canada and Vermont, where the story reaches its dramatic conclusion.
Travel inspiration: Experience Jamaica’s Caribbean landscapes and literary connections, then contrast them with the lakes, forests and mountains of Vermont and eastern Canada.
Bahamas / Caribbean
A very different Bond story — there is no traditional mission or villain. While in Nassau, Bond attends a dinner with the Governor and hears a deeply personal story about love, marriage and the consequences of cruelty.

🇬🇷 Risico — Italy / Mediterranean
Bond is drawn into a dangerous smuggling operation in the Mediterranean, with the story taking him into the world of rival smugglers and double-crosses. Italy features in the story, but its Mediterranean atmosphere and island settings provide a strong sense of place throughout.

🇸🇨 The Hildebrand Rarity — Seychelles / Indian Ocean
This atmospheric story takes Bond onto the Indian Ocean, where a luxurious yacht trip turns into a murder mystery surrounding a rare and highly prized fish. The story was inspired in part by Fleming’s own travels to the Seychelles.
