French Riviera

The French Riviera is all about sunshine, glamorous coastal towns, beautiful Mediterranean scenery and that unmistakable French joie de vivre. From the elegant streets of Cannes and Nice to the spectacular coastline stretching towards Monaco, it’s a wonderful region to explore at your own pace.

It’s also a fantastic destination for event-led travel. The famous French Open at Roland-Garros takes place in Paris from 17 May to 6 June 2027, and we can arrange travel and accommodation for tennis fans looking to combine the tournament with a wider French adventure.

Cannes makes a particularly good base for exploring the Riviera. I’ve used it myself as a base for visiting Monaco, travelling along the coast by train. The railway makes exploring the region wonderfully easy, with direct TER services linking Cannes with Monaco in around an hour, passing places such as Antibes, Nice, Villefranche-sur-Mer and Èze along the way.

Whether you want a glamorous city break, a relaxing Mediterranean escape, a tennis trip or a tailor-made itinerary combining several destinations, the French Riviera is an easy and incredibly rewarding place to explore.
