From the romance of Paris and the glamour of the French Riviera to historic cities, Mediterranean coastlines, beautiful countryside and some of the world’s most celebrated food and wine, France is a destination with an incredible amount to discover.

I’ve visited France several times over the years, and my memories are wonderfully varied. My first trip to Paris was back in 1990 when I travelled over by bus for a concert. Since then, I’ve returned to explore more, including going up the Eiffel Tower and enjoying lunch while cruising along the River Seine.

Further south, I’ve experienced a very different side of France in Cannes and Marseille, with the sunshine, Mediterranean scenery and atmosphere of the South of France providing a complete contrast to the capital.
