I’ve been lucky enough to experience two very different sides of Sweden. In Stockholm, I loved wandering through the cobbled streets of the beautiful Old Town (Gamla Stan) before taking a boat trip through the stunning archipelago. With thousands of islands stretching out into the Baltic Sea, it’s one of the most scenic ways to experience Sweden’s capital.
On another trip, I stayed in a cosy wooden cabin overlooking a peaceful lake, surrounded by forests and complete tranquillity. It was the kind of place where the silence is almost overwhelming—in the best possible way! Waking up to mist rising from the water and having nature right on the doorstep was an experience I’ll never forget.
